LPGA Yana Wilson isn’t a stranger to GOLFZON and its technology. She spent a whole day at the 2026 PGA Show where she saw the unveiling of CityGolf in the US, participated in a Hole-In-One Challenge and played a 9-hole match.
After the LPGA’s FM Championship at TPC Boston, Wilson visited Scratch Golf South Shore, a local GOLFZON facility. Opened in July, the indoor golf business has seven TwoVisionNX commercial golf simulator systems designed for frequent use by golfers of all skill levels.

One thing Wilson didn’t get to experience was Network Play, a GOLFZON technology feature that allows users to play with and against other users even when they’re physically apart. Like a video game, users can play with their friends from a different state or country or with strangers in a tournament or league. Network Play has the capability to have thousands of users simultaneously log in and play in a same round.
Wilson played the same round with some of the members of Scratch Golf South Shore and at Trull Brook Golf Course’s SimZon, which also houses TwoVisionNX simulator. While Wilson played in one bay, members joined in on the round from other bays. Those joining from Trull Brook could see Wilson and Scratch Golf’s members’ ball trajectories and vice versa.
Playing Golf Together From Different Locations
The wow factor hit Wilson hard.
It was really cool. It was my first time playing on Network Play. For the first couple holes we got to see everybody’s shots and it was interesting teeing off and seeing somebody else hit their shots. And I guess it puts a little bit of pressure on you because if you see them hit the fairway before you hit your shot, you want to hit the fairway as well. So it was a really cool concept and I really enjoyed playing.
The reason she only saw others’ shots for the first couple holes is because unlike traditional golf, users don’t have to wait for their playing partners to finish their shot or the hole to move on. Everyone gets to play at their own pace so there’s no pressure or intimidation factor of others watching one’s shot or waiting to finish.
How GOLFZON Network Play Connects Golfers Around the World
GOLFZON hosts many competitions using Network Play technology. GOLFZON Tour, now in Season 3, features matchplay using Network Play. With 14 countries signed up as host facilities, it allows facilities across continents to compete against each other, ultimately leaving with one winner taking home the $300,000 purse.

That’s so insane! Honestly, when we were talking about me playing that Network Play Shootout for the Pebble Beach Prize when I will be in in Hawaii, I almost had to do a double take there because you can literally play this anywhere in the world and compete. That’s really cool. Honestly, there’s nothing like it.
Although Wilson may be busy competing in the LOTTE Championship that week, if she wishes, she can go to a local facility in Hawaii (yes we have many facilities in Hawaii) and participate in this.
How GOLFZON Tour Creates New Competitive Opportunities for Golfers
She was even more impressed when she heard of GOLFZON Tour. It’s hard to believe and I’m just so grateful for it. I just turned 35 years old yesterday and I never would have thought, 10 years later that I’d be doing this and hanging out with these crazy guys.

As an LPGA pro, Wilson understands the weekly grind of travel not to mention the cost of just competing. So a competition like this opens so many doors of opportunities for everyone around the world.
Not everybody can have the opportunity to travel and play competitively but they can travel to their local facilities that has GOFZON simulators and actually compete. It fires up their competitive edge. It’s really cool.

She even visited J Bar Golf and Lounge, a local GOLFZON facility, during the summer to prepare for The Amundi Evian Championship. The facility’s TwoVisionNX golf simulator gave her access to Evian Resort Golf Club, along with other Tour venues such as Pebble Beach Golf Links, Harbour Town Golf Links, St Andrews and PGA National. For a realistic indoor golf experience, course selection is only part of the equation. A simulator must also measure club and ball data accurately, including launch direction, speed, spin and trajectory, then translate those measurements into responsive ball flight on screen.
