A Journey Built Year-Round

Victor Ciesielski’s journey to the U.S. Open portrays another example of how virtual golf is translating to performance on green grass through focused indoor golf training.

After competing as part of Team Golfplay, the runner-up team in GOLFZON Tour Season 2, the Canadian golfer and instructor earned a spotat the 126th U.S. Open Championship Final Qualifying, proving that GOLFZON’s simulator technology is doing far more than providing entertainment. Modern indoor golf has become a serious training tool for competitive players looking to improve scoring and support year-round golf practice.

Ciesielski shot 1-under 71 at the local qualifying held at St. Thomas Golf & Country Club. He will compete for a spot to play at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club on June 8 at Lambton Golf and Country Club in Ontario.

For golfers in Canada, long winters and limited playing seasons can make consistent outdoor practice difficult. For Ciesielski, indoor golf became more than a way to just stay sharp during the offseason — it became part of his journey to the U.S. Open.

Our indoor season is almost longer than our outdoor season, so hitting golf balls indoors is a way of life for us.

Training Without an Offseason
Powered by GOLFZON’sTwoVisionNX technology, players are able to practice in an environment designed to closely replicate real golf conditions. Features like dynamic moving swing plates, pressure-sensitive hitting surfaces, realistic lies and advanced ball tracking deliver an instant ball flight golf simulator experience with virtually no delay between impact and feedback. For serious golfers, that matters.

The NX system was designed to solve the golf simulator delay problem by creating a simulator with no lag and one of the fastest golf simulator response times available today. The zero-latency feature allows players to stay fully connected to every shot, making practice sessions feel natural and immersive.

Where Practice Meets Performance
Whether it’s approach shots or putting, the system gives players the opportunity to refine every aspect of their game. With realistic green speeds and accurate roll feedback, GOLFZON is recognized as one of the best golf simulators for putting while also providing meaningful golf simulator short game practice for players looking to sharpen key areas of tournament performance.

As more competitive golfers embrace simulator training, indoor golf is becoming more than a convenience. It’s becoming a golf simulator that improves scoring through repetition, instant feedback and year-round access to meaningful practice.

Built Through Competition and Community

Thanks to GOLFZON for allowing me to be in this position.

Ciesielski said following the Season 2 championship.
Beyond the technology itself, the atmosphere created throughout the season also played a major role.

Our entire team is great; we vibe really well together and we’re very close to each other. I really enjoyed it. We grew a lot together.

That competitive environment, combined with consistent access to elite-level simulator technology, helped players prepare mentally and physically for high-pressure moments on the course.

Changing the Perception of Indoor Golf
Ciesielski isn’tthe first person from the GOLFZON Tour to try to qualify for the U.S. Open. GOLFZON Tour Season 1 champion Jason Bustos from Golf Envy fell just short last year after falling in his qualifying playoff. GOLFZON ambassador Maiya Tanaka, who attempted to make a Season 2 team, also tried to qualify for the U.S. Women’s Open, held at Riviera Country Club this year.

As simulator golf continues to grow, stories like this are helping reshape perceptions around indoor golf. What was once considered offseason entertainment has evolved into a legitimate player development tool.

Beyond competitive training, GOLFZON technology is continuing to grow across golf simulator entertainment venues and commercial spaces. From golf simulator family room installations to simulator golf league software and golf simulator business solutions, operators are investing in systems that combine realism with commercial grade reliability.
The same technology trusted by competitive players is now helping entertainment venues and golf simulator businesses create immersive golf experiences year-round.

Where Virtual Golf Meets Real Performance
For Ciesielski, GOLFZON technology became part of the path to the 2026 U.S. Open at historic Shinnecock Hills Golf Club. His journey is another example of how virtual golf and competitive performance are becoming more connected than ever before.

As the line between simulator golf and real-world competition continues to blur, players are proving that indoor practice can translate directly to performance when it matters most.
