Simulators add unique guest and hospitality experiences through interactive contests and opportunities to play iconic venues at two of golf’s most prestigious events
Chantilly, Va. – June 16, 2026 – GOLFZON, the global leader in simulator technology and the Official Indoor Golf Simulator of the U.S. Open and U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally, is bringing immersive simulator experiences directly to fans at both championships through a series of interactive activations, marking the first year of its multi-year partnership with the United States Golf Association (USGA).
At both championships, GOLFZON has installed several simulator booths that allow thousands of golf fans to hit shots on the company’s signature TwoVisionNX simulators, which feature the company’s patented Motion Plate that replicates 56,000 distinct lies, the popular auto-tee feature, and high-speed cameras that provide precise measurements of launch angle, spin, speed, and club path.
“Our partnership with the USGA is centered on bringing fans closer to the game while attending the biggest championships in the sport,” said Sean Pyun, CEO of GOLFZON America. “The U.S. Women’s Open and U.S. Open provide an incredible opportunity to bring our technology directly to fans and hospitality guests, giving them the chance to test their skills on the same courses and championship venues hosting the world’s best players.”
At the 81st U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally at The Riviera Country Club, GOLFZON built two simulator activations. In the USGA Experience, fans competed in a Closest-to-the-Hole challenge on Riviera’s par-3 14th hole, while hospitality guests in the Champions Pavilion enjoyed simulator play, instructional sessions with golf professionals Holly Clyburn and Maiya Tanaka, and the opportunity to play The Riviera Country Club on GOLFZON’s simulators throughout tournament week.
This week at the 126th U.S. Open Championship at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, GOLFZON has three simulator locations throughout the grounds. Fans can participate in Closest-to-the-Hole contests on simulators located on Shinnecock Hills’ iconic 3rd hole in the USGA Experience, a Longest Drive Challenge at the Swing Experience Driven by Lexus in Fan Central, and guests in the 17th Village can play Shinnecock’s 17th hole while getting swing tips from golf instructor Bryce Cope. Shinnecock Hills is now available to play on all TwoVisionNX simulators.
The activations reflect a growing trend among major sporting events to create more interactive and immersive experiences for fans and hospitality guests. Simulator technology allows spectators to move beyond watching the action and experience the same shots, courses, and challenges facing the world’s best players.
Fans interested in experiencing the same simulator technology featured at the U.S. Women’s Open and U.S. Open can visit a local GOLFZON facility, where they can play many of the world’s most iconic courses. Find your nearest GOLFZON facility here.
