The landmark deal adds Pinehurst’s iconic courses to GOLFZON’s course library, introduces “Road to Pinehurst” tournament series, and brings GOLFZON simulators to Pinehurst resort
PINEHURST, N.C. & Chantilly, VA — May 27, 2026 — GOLFZON, the global leader in golf simulator technology, and Pinehurst Resort, the cradle of American golf, today announced a strategic partnership designed to bring Pinehurst’s world-renowned courses to GOLFZON users worldwide. This collaboration expands access to one of golf’s most storied destinations, allowing millions of GOLFZON users to experience Pinehurst’s championship-caliber courses in a highly immersive simulator environment. In the coming years, GOLFZON will also install several TwoVisionNX systems throughout the resort, enabling guests to play on the industry’s leading simulators while onsite.
As part of this new partnership, GOLFZON will use laser scanners mounted on drones to map every lie, bunker, and fairway, recreating each Pinehurst course with tri-layer course mapping in high-definition 3D for golfers around the world.
Adding Pinehurst’s iconic courses to the GOLFZON course library is a massive win for all golfers who use our simulators. As a USGA Anchor Site, Pinehurst represents the highest standard in championship golf. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to growing the game and extends our work alongside the USGA in advancing innovation and accessibility for golfers everywhere.
Pinehurst has always been committed to providing unforgettable golf experiences, and innovative platforms like GOLFZON allow us to extend that experience far beyond our property. By incorporating Pinehurst’s historic, championship-caliber courses into GOLFZON simulators, more golfers around the world can experience the history, challenge, and beauty that make Pinehurst special.
An additional component of the partnership is the upcoming “GOLFZON Road to Pinehurst” tournament. This global competition, expected to draw tens of thousands of participants across Asia and North America, invites golfers to compete virtually across all 11 Pinehurst courses, showcasing their skills on some of the game’s most iconic layouts. Eight finalists will earn an all-expenses-paid trip to Pinehurst, where they will compete in person for the chance to be crowned champion.
The companies will also explore integrating Pinehurst into GOLFZON’s professional GTour, including the potential for Pinehurst to be featured as a premier or “major” tournament venue within the virtual competition schedule.
GOLFZON operates one of the largest virtual golf course libraries in the world, with a rapidly growing presence in the United States. The company’s worldwide library includes more than 300 courses, including 51 in the United States.
