This July, the featured event course is Royal Portrush Golf Club – Dunluce Links.

Recognized as one of the most spectacular and demanding links courses in the world, Dunluce Links is named after the medieval ruins of Dunluce Castle, perched dramatically on the cliffs of Northern Ireland’s coast.

Originally designed by legendary architect Harry Colt, the course offers breathtaking seaside views and a true test of golf, set against the sweeping backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean.

 

 

Royal Portrush Golf Club, the host venue for The Open Championship in 2025, underwent a major redesign beginning in 2015.

The transformation included five new greens, eight new tee boxes, ten bunkers, and the addition of two entirely new holes—the 7th and 8th—enhancing the course’s challenge and visual appeal.
